Exciting projects

BASt employees work on around 200 of their own research projects every year - often in our test facilities, laboratories or on test fields in road traffic:

The BASt is also increasingly involved in international projects, sometimes as a partner in large consortia.

In addition, we supervise approximately 300 research projects annually, which are carried out by external scientists at universities and other research institutions.
