Speculative application

Due to a predetermined procedure, we are unfortunately not able to consider an unsolicited application for formal reasons. So please do not apply without reference to a corresponding job add. In this case, we are forced to return the application without considering your qualifications.

Tips for applicants

Please send us your complete application. The application should include a cover letter explaining your motivation to apply. In addition, we need a CV in tabular form, with at least the details of the required qualifications, as well as full certificates from previous employers and the career-qualifying degree.

The applications can also be sent by email to the service center in Aurich. The exact email address is specified in each job description.

Further information

Each position can be basically offered to part-time employees. Exceptions are possible in individual cases.

In cases of equal qualification, aptitude and expertise of the applicants, female applicants will be given preferential treatment, in accordance with the Federal Equal Opportunities Act.

Handicapped persons will be given preference in cases of equal professional qualification of the applicants. In principle, only a minimum of physical fitness is required.

Other employees, who have equivalent skills and experience, can also apply, enclosing the relevant evidence with the application documents.

Selection scheme

Selected applicants will be invited to an interview, lasting approximately one hour.

For managers

Depending on the results of the interviews, the managers shall also deliver a half an hour presentation to a closed BASt audience. Following each presentation, the lecturer shall take part in a half an hour discussion, during which they will defend their presentation.
