UGren - Centre Régional de Pharmacovigilance

The Centre Régional de Pharmacovigilance (UGren) Grenoble-France is a functional unit of the Universitary Hospital of Grenoble. It is specialised in supporting public authorities in the medical, scientific, technical and administrative management of publicly funded projects. It advises public authorities with respect to the evaluation and selection of projects to be funded.

The expertise of UGren includes years of experience, for example:

  • thirty years of cooperation with the French Ministry of Health about side effects of drugs, including drug effects on driving
  • five years of experience as counselling for "French Drug Agency" (AFSSAPS : Agence Française de Sécurité Sanitaire des Produits de Santé) about "drugs and driving" (Control of Substances) National Contact Point (NCP) for the transport research programmes of the EU
  • Information about Drug and driving (Livre blanc "médicaments et sécurité routière")

With its 10 employees, UGren manages different projects with a total annual volume of Euro 400,000.
