Signature strengthens further cooperation

On February 28, 2020, BASt President Stefan Strick (left) and Terbish Byambaa, President of the Mongolian Road Association, and Ute Hammer, Managing Director of the German Road Safety Council (DVR), signed a joint Memorandum of Understanding. The memorandum establishes further cooperation in the field of road and transport between Mongolia and the German partners BASt, DVR and the Association of Road Construction and Traffic Engineers of Saxony-Anhalt (VSVI).

Terbish Byambaa was accompanied by Dr. Dorjraa Munkhtur, Second Secretary of the Embassy of Mongolia, and Boldgerel Tuvd. The guests made use of their visit to inspect some of BASt's large scale test facilities - the full scale pavement test facilities with the measuring vehicle MESAS, the vehicle-pavement interaction facility PFF and the turntable road-marking test system - as well as the asphalt laboratory.
